Configuring Devices for Private 5G

Set up smart glasses and devices to connect to your private 5G network.

Configure Net4Connect devices to use your private 5G network.

Requirements

  • Private 5G network deployed and operational

  • SIM cards or eSIM profiles for each device

  • Network credentials from your administrator

Device Setup

For Vuzix M400/M4000

  1. Insert SIM card (slot under battery cover)

  2. Power on the device

  3. Navigate to Settings > Network

  4. Enable cellular data

  5. Select your private network APN

  6. Enter network credentials if required

Verifying Connection

  1. Check signal strength indicator

  2. Perform a speed test

  3. Test Remote Expert connection

  4. Verify workflow download speeds

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure SIM is properly seated

  • Verify APN settings with IT

  • Check network coverage in your area

  • Restart device after SIM installation
