M400 Troubleshooting Guide

Common issues and solutions for the Vuzix M400.

This guide addresses common M400 issues and their solutions.

Device Won't Power On

  1. Ensure battery is charged (charge for 30 minutes minimum)

  2. Try a different charging cable

  3. Perform a hard reset: hold power button for 15 seconds

  4. Contact support if issue persists

WiFi Connection Issues

  1. Verify WiFi network is 2.4GHz or 5GHz compatible

  2. Move closer to the access point

  3. Forget and reconnect to the network

  4. Check if MAC filtering is enabled on your network

Display Problems

  1. Clean the display prism with the included cloth

  2. Adjust brightness settings

  3. Check for firmware updates

  4. Restart the device

Audio Issues

  1. Check volume levels

  2. Ensure speaker is not blocked

  3. Try connected Bluetooth audio device

  4. Reset audio settings to default
