M4000 Initial Setup

Complete setup guide for your new Vuzix M4000 smart glasses.

Follow these steps to set up your Vuzix M4000 smart glasses.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure you have WiFi network credentials ready

  • Download the Net4Connect app on a companion device

  • Charge the M4000 fully (2-3 hours)

Setup Steps

  1. Power on the M4000 by holding the power button for 3 seconds

  2. Follow the on-screen setup wizard

  3. Connect to your WiFi network

  4. Sign in with your Net4Connect account

  5. Allow the device to download any pending updates

  6. Configure display brightness and audio settings

Fitting the Glasses

  1. Adjust the temple arms for a comfortable fit

  2. Position the display in your line of sight

  3. Use the included nose pieces if needed

  4. Attach safety frames if required for your environment

Your M4000 is now ready for use with Net4Connect applications.
