Starting a Remote Expert Session

Step-by-step guide to initiating and managing remote expert sessions.

Learn how to start and manage Remote Expert sessions from your smart glasses or mobile device.

From Smart Glasses

  1. Open the Net4Connect app

  2. Select "Remote Expert" from the main menu

  3. Choose "Start New Session" or select a scheduled session

  4. Select the expert or group to contact

  5. Wait for the expert to accept the call

From Mobile Device

  1. Open the Net4Connect mobile app

  2. Tap the Remote Expert icon

  3. Select your target device or user

  4. Tap "Start Session"

During the Session

  • Use voice commands to take photos

  • Ask the expert to annotate your view

  • Request document overlays when needed

  • End the session when complete

After the Session

A summary including recording, photos, and notes is automatically saved to your session history.
